WARNING:
Observe the following items for the safe usage of SSM4.
- Before using the SSM4, read the operation manual.
- When running the vehicle with the SSM4 connected to the DLC3, be careful not to let the cable contact the pedal, shift lever or steering wheel.
- When running the vehicle with the SSM4 connected to the DLC3, always work in a team of two to avoid driving while operating tools and obey traffic regulations.
CAUTION:
- When replacing the engine control computer, perform registration of the identification code. (For registration procedure, refer to "REGISTRATION MANUAL FOR IMMOBILIZER".)
- After turning the ignition switch to OFF, you may have to wait for a while before disconnecting the battery terminals. Check appropriate precautions for battery terminal disconnection before proceeding. (Refer to Working precautions and notes )
