Intake Manifold Assembly: Disassembly

  1. Remove the throttle body. Ref. to REMOVAL , Throttle Body.
  2. Remove the EGR pipe. Ref. to REMOVAL , EGR Pipe.
  3. Remove the EGR control valve. Ref. to REMOVAL , EGR Control Valve.
  4. Remove the purge control solenoid valve. Ref. to REMOVAL , Purge Control Solenoid Valve.
  5. Remove the manifold absolute pressure sensor. Ref. to REMOVAL , Manifold Absolute Pressure Sensor.
  6. Remove the fuel delivery pipe assembly from the intake manifold assembly.
    NOTE: Disconnect the quick connector as shown in the figure.

  7. Remove the fuel pipe assembly from the intake manifold assembly.
