Knock Sensor: Installation

Install the knock sensor to the cylinder block, and connect the connector (A) to the knock sensor.
Tightening torque:

25 N.m (2.5 kgf-m, 18.4 ft-lb)

NOTE: The knock sensor should be installed so that the center of the connector is positioned as shown in the figure relative to the front of engine.

Install the intake manifold. <Ref. to INSTALLATION , Intake Manifold.>
Connect the ground terminal to battery sensor. <Ref. to BATTERY , NOTE, Repair Contents.>
Install the collector cover.
