LH Side

  1. Install the knock sensor to the cylinder block.
    NOTE: The knock sensor should be installed so that the center of the connector is positioned at a 47.5 - 62.5° angle relative to the rear of engine.

    Tightening torque: 

    24 N.m (2.4 kgf-m, 17.7 ft-lb)

  2. Connect the connector to the knock sensor.

  3. Install the bolts securing the engine harness.

    Tightening torque: 

    19 N.m (1.9 kgf-m, 14.0 ft-lb)

  4. Install the throttle body. <Ref. to INSTALLATION , Throttle Body.>
  5. Install the intercooler. <Ref. to INSTALLATION , Intercooler.>
  6. Connect the ground terminal to battery sensor. <Ref. to BATTERY , NOTE, Note.>
  7. Install the collector cover. <Ref. to INSTALLATION , Collector Cover.>
