Engine Control Computer (FA20): Removal

  1. Disconnection of the battery ground terminal (Refer to WORKING PRECAUTIONS AND NOTES )
  2. Removal of the instrument side panel RH (Refer to REMOVAL , Step 15)
  3. Removal of glove compartment door ASSY (Refer to REMOVAL , Step 19)
  4. Removal of control module relay ASSY (without smart entry) (Refer to KEY LOCK UNIT )
  5. Removal of engine control computer

    1. Disconnect 4 connectors for engine control computer.

    2. Remove 2 nuts, and remove the engine control computer.

  6. Removal of engine control computer bracket
    1. Release 2 claws, and remove the engine control computer bracket.
