Engine Wiring Harness: Installation
- Set the engine wiring harness to the engine, and connect each connector. Ref. to FUEL INJECTION (FUEL SYSTEMS) (H4DO)>General Description>COMPONENT>ENGINE WIRING HARNESS .NOTE:
- When replacing the engine wiring harness of the variable capacity A/C model with a new part, remove the tape (a), disconnect the coupling harness from the engine wiring harness. and then dispose the coupling harness.
- For installation of the coupling harness for variable capacity A/C model, refer to "Fuel Injector". Ref. to FUEL INJECTION (FUEL SYSTEMS) (H4DO)>Fuel Injector>INSTALLATION>FUEL INJECTOR LH .
- When installing the engine wiring harness of the variable capacity A/C model, connect the coupling harness to the engine wiring harness, and then fix with the tape (a).
- If the clip is damaged, replace it with a new part.
- Before replacing the clip, put an alignment mark (a) on both engine wiring harness and clip to remove the clip, and then align to the alignment mark (a) to attach a new clip to the engine wiring harness.
- When replacing the engine wiring harness of the variable capacity A/C model with a new part, remove the tape (a), disconnect the coupling harness from the engine wiring harness. and then dispose the coupling harness.
- Install the fuel insulator. Ref. to FUEL INJECTION (FUEL SYSTEMS) (H4DO)>Fuel Insulator>INSTALLATION .
- Install the intake manifold assembly. Ref. to FUEL INJECTION (FUEL SYSTEMS) (H4DO)>Intake Manifold Assembly>INSTALLATION .
- Connect the battery ground terminal. Ref. to REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY .
