Engine Wiring Harness: Removal

  1. Disconnect the ground cable from battery. Ref. to REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY .
  2. Remove the intake manifold assembly. Ref. to FUEL INJECTION (FUEL SYSTEMS) (H4DO)>Intake Manifold Assembly>REMOVAL .
  3. Remove the fuel insulator. Ref. to FUEL INJECTION (FUEL SYSTEMS) (H4DO)>Fuel Insulator>REMOVAL .
  4. Remove the engine wiring harness and the battery cables from the bracket.

  5. Disconnect each connector to remove the engine wiring harness. Ref. to FUEL INJECTION (FUEL SYSTEMS) (H4DO)>General Description>COMPONENT>ENGINE WIRING HARNESS .
    NOTE:
    • For the variable capacity A/C model, disconnect the fuel injector #2 connector at the coupling harness side, and then remove the tape (a).
