Knock Sensor: Installation
- Install the knock sensor to the cylinder block by routing it under the water pipe assembly, and connect the connector to the knock sensor.NOTE:
- The knock sensor should be installed so that the center of the knock sensor is positioned at a 105° - 120° angle from the cylinder block rib (a) relative to the front of engine.
- Make sure that the knock sensor and its connector do not touch the adjacent parts.
Tightening torque:
24 N.m (2.4 kgf-m, 17.7 ft-lb)
- Install the air intake boot. Ref. to INTAKE (INDUCTION) (H4DO)>Air Intake Boot>INSTALLATION .
- Connect the ground terminal to battery sensor. Ref. to NOTE>NOTE>BATTERY .
