Check Accelerator Pedal Sensor Area (Method With Circuit Tester)

Disconnect the ground terminal from battery sensor. REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY
Remove the ECM. Ref. to FUEL INJECTION (FUEL SYSTEMS) (H4DO)>Engine Control Module (ECM)>REMOVAL Ref. to FUEL INJECTION (FUEL SYSTEMS) (H6DO)>Engine Control Module (ECM)>REMOVAL
Install the ST between the ECM and bulkhead harness and the engine wiring harness. Ref. to ENGINE (DIAGNOSTICS) (H4DO)>General Description>CAUTION Ref. to ENGINE (DIAGNOSTICS) (H6DO)>General Description>CAUTION

Connect the ground terminal to battery sensor. REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY
Turn the ignition switch to ON. (Engine OFF)

Measure the voltage between ECM connector terminals using ST.
