Fuel Pump Control Unit: Removal

  1. Disconnect the ground terminal from battery sensor. Ref. to REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY .
  2. Remove the trunk trim panel assembly - side on the RH side. (Sedan model) Ref. to EXTERIOR/INTERIOR TRIM>Rear Quarter Trim>REMOVAL .
  3. Remove the right side rear quarter trim. (OUTBACK model) Ref. to EXTERIOR/INTERIOR TRIM>Rear Quarter Trim>REMOVAL .
  4. Remove the fuel pump control unit.

  5. Disconnect the connector from fuel pump control unit.
