LH Side

  1. Remove the collector cover. Ref. to INTAKE (INDUCTION) (EXCEPT FOR STI)>Collector Cover>REMOVAL .
  2. Disconnect the ground terminal from battery sensor. Ref. to NOTE>BATTERY .
  3. Remove the intercooler. Ref. to INTAKE (INDUCTION) (EXCEPT FOR STI)>Intercooler>REMOVAL .
  4. Remove the throttle body. Ref. to FUEL INJECTION (FUEL SYSTEMS) (EXCEPT FOR STI)>Throttle Body>REMOVAL .
  5. Remove the bolts securing the engine wiring harness.

  6. Disconnect the connector (A) from the knock sensor, and remove the knock sensor from the cylinder block.
