RH Side

  1. Remove the collector cover. Ref. to INTAKE (INDUCTION) (EXCEPT FOR STI)>Collector Cover>REMOVAL .
  2. Disconnect the ground terminal from battery sensor. Ref. to NOTE>BATTERY .
  3. Remove the intake manifold. Ref. to FUEL INJECTION (FUEL SYSTEMS) (EXCEPT FOR STI)>Intake Manifold>REMOVAL .
  4. Remove the fuel pipe insulator No. 3. Ref. to FUEL INJECTION (FUEL SYSTEMS) (EXCEPT FOR STI)>Fuel Insulator>REMOVAL>FUEL PIPE INSULATOR NO. 3 .
  5. Disconnect the connector (A) from the knock sensor, and remove the knock sensor from the cylinder block.
