Starting System & Charging Systems: Battery: Removal

  1. Disconnect the ground terminal from battery sensor. Ref. to REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY .
  2. Disconnect the connector from battery sensor. (When not replacing the battery)
  3. Remove the battery sensor. (When replacing the battery) Ref. to STARTING/CHARGING SYSTEMS (H4DOTC)>BATTERY SENSOR>REMOVAL .
  4. Disconnect the positive terminal of battery.
  5. Remove the battery cable holder.
  6. Remove the battery holder.

  7. Remove the battery.
