Starting System & Charging Systems: Starter: Installation
- Install the starter and cable stay.
Tightening torque:
50 N.m (5.1 kgf-m, 36.9 ft-lb)
- Connect the connector, terminal B and ground terminal.
Tightening torque:
Terminal B.
9.8 N.m (1.0 kgf-m, 7.2 ft-lb)
Ground terminal.
14 N.m (1.4 kgf-m, 10.3 ft-lb)
- Install the nuts on the lower side of the starter.
Tightening torque:
50 N.m (5.1 kgf-m, 36.9 ft-lb)
- Install the CVTF cooler pipe. (Model with CVTF cooler (air cool))
Tightening torque:
16 N.m (1.6 kgf-m, 11.8 ft-lb)
- Install the center exhaust pipe (rear), Ref. to EXHAUST (H4DOTC)>CENTER EXHAUST PIPE>INSTALLATION>CENTER EXHAUST PIPE (REAR) .
- Install the intercooler. Ref. to INTAKE (INDUCTION) (H4DOTC)>INTERCOOLER>INSTALLATION .
- Connect the battery ground terminal. Ref. to REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY .
