Fuel Delivery and Evaporation Lines: Installation: Notes

Install the fuel sub delivery tube.

Set the fuel sub delivery tube to the fuel tank.

NOTE:

Route the fuel sub delivery tube in rear of the stand-off as shown in the figure.
Check the fuel sub delivery tube to make sure it's not twisted.

Install the fuel sub level sensor. Ref. to FUEL INJECTION (FUEL SYSTEMS) (H4DOTC)>FUEL SUB LEVEL SENSOR>INSTALLATION .
Install the fuel pump. Ref. to FUEL INJECTION (FUEL SYSTEMS) (H4DOTC)>FUEL PUMP>INSTALLATION .

Install the fuel pipe assembly to the pipe clamp and pipe protector.

Install the pipe clamp to the fuel pipe assembly, and then install the fuel pipe bracket B (B) and fuel pipe bracket C (C).
Tightening torque:

18 N.m (1.8 kgf-m, 13.3 ft-lb)
Install the connector to the fuel pipe bracket C (C) and connect the harness (A).

Connect the pipe assembly front ABS and pipe center brake rear. Ref. to BRAKE PIPE>INSTALLATION>FRONT BRAKE PIPE . Ref. to BRAKE HOSE>INSTALLATION>REAR BRAKE HOSE .
Install the rear pipe assembly front and rear pipe assembly rear. Ref. to AIR CONDITIONER>HOSE AND PIPE>INSTALLATION>PIPE>REAR A/C PIPE .
Install the under cover rear RH. Ref. to EXTERIOR/INTERIOR TRIM>FLOOR UNDER PROTECTOR>INSTALLATION .
Connect the fuel pipe assembly to canister. Ref. to FUEL INJECTION (FUEL SYSTEMS) (H4DOTC)>FUEL DELIVERY AND EVAPORATION LINES>INSTALLATION>QUICK CONNECTOR CONNECTION (TYPE C) .

Connect individual tubes and hoses to the fuel tank. Ref. to FUEL INJECTION (FUEL SYSTEMS) (H4DOTC)>GENERAL DESCRIPTION>COMPONENT>FUEL TANK .

Install the fuel tank. Ref. to FUEL INJECTION (FUEL SYSTEMS) (H4DOTC)>INSTALLATION .
Install the pipe clamp to the fuel pipe assembly, and then install the fuel pipe bracket A.
Tightening torque:

18 N.m (1.8 kgf-m, 13.3 ft-lb)

Lower the vehicle.
Connect the evaporation hose to fuel pipe assembly.

Connect the quick connector on the fuel delivery tube to the fuel pipe assembly. Ref. to FUEL INJECTION (FUEL SYSTEMS) (H4DOTC)>FUEL DELIVERY AND EVAPORATION LINES>INSTALLATION>QUICK CONNECTOR CONNECTION (TYPE A) .
