Primary Speed Sensor: Installation

CAUTION: If water or oil contacts the connector terminal of primary speed sensor, replace it with a new part.

Install the primary speed sensor using a new O-ring.
CAUTION:
- Before installing O-rings, apply sufficient amount of CVTF to avoid damage and deformation.
- Use SUBARU genuine CVTF.
- Be careful not to incorrectly install or fail to install O-rings and other such parts.
Tightening torque:

5 N.m (0.5 kgf-m, 3.7 ft-lb)
Connect the primary pressure sensor harness connector.
Install the intercooler. Ref. to INTAKE (INDUCTION) (H4DOTC)>INTERCOOLER>INSTALLATION .
Connect the battery ground terminal. Ref. to REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY .
