Fuel Pump Control Computer (FA20): Removal

  1. Disconnection of the battery ground terminal (Refer to WORKING PRECAUTIONS AND NOTES )
  2. Disconnection of front door opening trim weather strip RH (Refer to REMOVAL )
  3. Removal of the front door scuff plate RH (Refer to REMOVAL )
  4. Removal of separate type rear seat cushion ASSY (Refer to REMOVAL )
  5. Removal of luggage compartment trim cover INN RH (Refer to REMOVAL )
  6. Removal of luggage compartment trim side cover RH (Refer to REMOVAL )

  7. Removal of fuel pump control computer ASSY
    1. Disconnect the fuel pump control computer connector.
    2. Remove the nut.

    3. Push in the stud bolt of fuel pump control computer ASSY
    4. Slide the fuel pump control computer ASSY toward the rear of the vehicle to disengage the bracket and remove the fuel pump control computer ASSY.
      CAUTION: If impact is applied to the fuel pump control computer ASSY, do not reuse it.
