Engine Wiring Harness: Installation

Set the engine wiring harness to the engine, and connect each connector. Refer to FUEL INJECTION (FUEL SYSTEMS) (H4DO (EXCEPT FOR HEV))>GENERAL DESCRIPTION>COMPONENT>ENGINE WIRING HARNESS .

NOTE:

When replacing the engine wiring harness of the variable capacity A/C model with a new part, remove the tape (a), disconnect the coupling harness from the engine wiring harness and then dispose the coupling harness.

For installation of the coupling harness for variable capacity A/C model, refer to "Fuel Injector". Refer to FUEL INJECTION (FUEL SYSTEMS) (H4DO (EXCEPT FOR HEV))>FUEL INJECTOR>INSTALLATION>FUEL INJECTOR LH .

When installing the engine wiring harness of the variable capacity A/C model, connect the coupling harness to the engine wiring harness, and then fix with the tape (a).

If the clip is damaged, replace it with a new part.
Before replacing the clip, put an alignment mark (a) on both engine wiring harness and clip to remove the clip, and then align to the alignment mark (a) to attach a new clip to the engine wiring harness.

Install the fuel insulator. Refer to FUEL INJECTION (FUEL SYSTEMS) (H4DO (EXCEPT FOR HEV))>FUEL INSULATOR>INSTALLATION .
Install the intake manifold assembly. Refer to FUEL INJECTION (FUEL SYSTEMS) (H4DO (EXCEPT FOR HEV))>INTAKE MANIFOLD ASSEMBLY>INSTALLATION .
Connect the battery ground terminal. Refer to REPAIR CONTENTS>REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY .
