Engine Wiring Harness: Removal

Disconnect the ground terminal from battery. Refer to REPAIR CONTENTS>REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY .
Remove the intake manifold assembly. Refer to FUEL INJECTION (FUEL SYSTEMS) (H4DO (EXCEPT FOR HEV))>INTAKE MANIFOLD ASSEMBLY>REMOVAL .
Remove the fuel insulator. Refer to FUEL INJECTION (FUEL SYSTEMS) (H4DO (EXCEPT FOR HEV))>FUEL INSULATOR>REMOVAL .
Remove the engine wiring harness and the battery cables from the bracket.

Disconnect each connector to remove the engine wiring harness. Refer to FUEL INJECTION (FUEL SYSTEMS) (H4DO (EXCEPT FOR HEV))>GENERAL DESCRIPTION>COMPONENT>ENGINE WIRING HARNESS .

NOTE:

For the variable capacity A/C model, disconnect the fuel injector #2 connector at the coupling harness side, and then remove the tape (a).
