Battery Cable Assembly: Installation

Secure the battery cable assembly to the bracket.

Install the clip (C) and claw (D) to the intake manifold assembly to secure the battery cable assembly.
Connect the connector (A), and install the engine wiring harness to the clip (B).

Secure the battery cable assembly with the clip (A) and clip (B).
Connect the connector (C), connector (D), and the terminal (E).
Tightening torque:

15.5 N.m (1.6 kgf-m, 11.4 ft-lb)

Connect the terminal B and connector to the starter.
Tightening torque:

11 N.m (1.1 kgf-m, 8.1 ft-lb)
Connect the ground terminal to the cable stay.
Tightening torque:

14 N.m (1.4 kgf-m, 10.3 ft-lb)

Install the air intake boot. Ref. to INTAKE (INDUCTION) (H4DO)>AIR INTAKE BOOT>INSTALLATION .
Connect the terminal (A), terminal (B) and the terminal (C).
Tightening torque:

7.5 N.m (0.8 kgf-m, 5.5 ft-lb)

Install the collector cover. Ref. to INTAKE (INDUCTION) (H4DO)>COLLECTOR COVER>INSTALLATION .
Connect the ground terminal (A) and install the ground cable to the clip (B).
Tightening torque:

13 N.m (1.3 kgf-m, 9.6 ft-lb)
Connect the ground terminal (C) and install the battery cable holder (D).
Tightening torque:

7.5 N.m (0.8 kgf-m, 5.5 ft-lb)
Install the battery sensor harness to the clip (E).
