Select Lever: Installation
- Connect the select cable. Ref. to CONTROL SYSTEMS>SELECT CABLE>INSTALLATION .
- Install the select lever.
Tightening torque:
18 N.m (1.8 kgf-m, 13.3 ft-lb)
- Connect the connector.
- Install the harness.
- Install the duct console center, Ref. to AIR CONDITIONER>AIR VENT DUCT>INSTALLATION>CONSOLE DUCT>CENTER .
- Install the clamp.NOTE: Insert it from the front side.
- Install the grip.NOTE: Install it while pressing on the clamp.
- Install the boot. (Model with boot shifter)
- Install the grip cover. (Model with gate shifter)
- Install the select cable to the transmission body.CAUTION: Do not apply excessive load while holding the part (a).
Tightening torque:
25 N.m (2.5 kgf-m, 18.4 ft-lb)
- Adjust the select cable free play. Ref. to CONTROL SYSTEMS>SELECT CABLE>ADJUSTMENT .
- Install the center exhaust cover.
Tightening torque:
18 N.m (1.8 kgf-m, 13.3 ft-lb)
- Shift the select lever to "P range".
- Connect the battery ground terminal. Ref. to REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY .
- Apply the parking brake.
