Check Accelerator Pedal Sensor Area (Method With Circuit Tester)

Disconnect the ground terminal from battery sensor. Ref. to REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY .
Remove the ECM. Ref. to FUEL INJECTION (FUEL SYSTEMS) (H4DO)>ENGINE CONTROL MODULE (ECM)>REMOVAL . Ref. to FUEL INJECTION (FUEL SYSTEMS) (H6DO)>ENGINE CONTROL MODULE (ECM)>REMOVAL .
Install the ST between the ECM and bulkhead harness and the engine wiring harness. Ref. to ENGINE (DIAGNOSTICS) (H4DO)>GENERAL DESCRIPTION>CAUTION . Ref. to ENGINE (DIAGNOSTICS) (H6DO)>GENERAL DESCRIPTION>CAUTION .

Connect the ground terminal to battery sensor. Ref. to REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY .
Turn the ignition switch to ON. (Engine OFF)

Measure the voltage between ECM connector terminals using ST.
