Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor: Installation

  1. Install the engine coolant temperature sensor, and connect the connector to the engine coolant temperature sensor.
    NOTE: Use a new gasket.

    Tightening torque: 

    22 N.m (2.2 kgf-m, 16.2 ft-lb)

  2. Connect the ground terminal to battery sensor. Ref. to REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY .
  3. Fill engine coolant. Ref. to COOLING (H6DO)>ENGINE COOLANT>REPLACEMENT>FILLING OF ENGINE COOLANT .
  4. Install the collector cover.
