Front Wheel Speed Sensor: Installation
CAUTION:
- If water or oil contacts the connector terminal of front wheel speed sensor, replace it with a new part.
- If CVTF has leaked when the front wheel speed sensor is removed, adjust the CVTF level after installing the front wheel speed sensor.
- Install the front wheel speed sensor using a new O-ring.CAUTION:
- Before installing O-rings, apply sufficient amount of CVTF to avoid damage and deformation.
- Use SUBARU genuine CVTF.
- Be careful not to incorrectly install or fail to install O-rings and other such parts.
Tightening torque:
5 N.m (0.5 kgf-m, 3.7 ft-lb)
- Connect the front wheel speed sensor harness connector.
- Connect the battery ground terminal. Ref. to REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY .
