Transmission Harness: Installation
- Install the harness clip to the transmission body.
- Insert the transmission harness bushing into the transmission case using new O-rings, and install the bolt.CAUTION:
- Before installing O-rings, apply sufficient amount of CVTF to avoid damage and deformation.
- Use SUBARU genuine CVTF.
- Be careful not to incorrectly install or fail to install O-rings and other such parts.
- Do not impact or bend the transmission harness because it has the oil temperature sensor inside.
Tightening torque:
5 N.m (0.5 kgf-m, 3.7 ft-lb)
- Install the control valve body. Ref. to CONTINUOUSLY VARIABLE TRANSMISSION (TR690)>CONTROL VALVE BODY>INSTALLATION .
- Install the harness stay to the transmission harness connector and inhibitor harness connector.
- Connect the harness connectors to the inhibitor switch, secondary pressure sensor, primary speed sensor, front wheel speed sensor and secondary speed sensor.
- Connect the ground terminal of the transmission harness.
Tightening torque:
13 N.m (1.3 kgf-m, 9.6 ft-lb)
- Install the transmission cover.
Tightening torque:
8 N.m (0.8 kgf-m, 5.9 ft-lb)
- Install the transmission body. Ref. to CONTINUOUSLY VARIABLE TRANSMISSION (TR690)>TRANSMISSION ASSEMBLY>INSTALLATION .
