Draining Fuel (With Other Than SUBARU Select Monitor)

WARNING: Place "NO OPEN FLAMES" signs near the working area.

CAUTION:

NOTE: If the fuel gauge indicates "F", perform "DRAINING FUEL PARTIALLY". Ref. to DRAINING FUEL PARTIALLY .

Open the fuel filler lid and remove the fuel filler cap.
Remove the fuel pump assembly. Ref. to Fuel Pump .
Remove the fuel sub level sensor. Ref. to Fuel Sub Level Sensor .
Drain the fuel from the fuel tank using the gasoline proof pump.
CAUTION:
- Be careful not to spill fuel.
Install the related parts in the reverse order after draining the fuel.
