Engine Wiring Harness: Removal

Disconnect the ground terminal from 12V engine restart battery sensor. Refer to REPAIR CONTENTS>REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY .
Remove the clip from the air intake boot, and loosen the clamp.

Remove the air intake boot, and place it aside so that it does not interfere with the work.
CAUTION: Be careful not to pull out the PCV hose.

Remove the intake manifold assembly. Refer to FUEL INJECTION (FUEL SYSTEMS) (H4DO (EXCEPT FOR HEV))>INTAKE MANIFOLD ASSEMBLY>REMOVAL .
Remove the fuel insulator. Refer to FUEL INJECTION (FUEL SYSTEMS) (H4DO (EXCEPT FOR HEV))>FUEL INSULATOR>REMOVAL .

Disconnect each connector to remove the engine wiring harness. Refer to FUEL INJECTION (FUEL SYSTEMS) (H4DO (EXCEPT FOR HEV))>GENERAL DESCRIPTION>COMPONENT>ENGINE WIRING HARNESS .

NOTE:

For models except for fixed capacity A/C CVT model, disconnect the fuel injector #2 connector at the coupling harness side, and then remove the tape (a).
