Fuel Delivery And Evaporation Lines: Removal: Notes

WARNING: Place "NO OPEN FLAMES" signs near the working area.

CAUTION: Be careful not to spill fuel.

Release the fuel pressure.
Refer to FUEL INJECTION (FUEL SYSTEMS) (H4DO)>FUEL>PROCEDURE>RELEASING OF FUEL PRESSURE .
Drain fuel.
Refer to FUEL INJECTION (FUEL SYSTEMS) (H4DO)>FUEL>PROCEDURE>DRAINING FUEL (WITH SUBARU SELECT MONITOR) .
Disconnect the ground terminal from battery sensor.
Refer to REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY .
Open the fuel filler lid and remove the fuel filler cap.
NOTE: This operation is required to release the inner pressure of the fuel tank.
Remove the fuel delivery tube clamp from the fuel delivery tube.

Disconnect the quick connector on the fuel delivery tube from the fuel pipe assembly.
Refer to FUEL INJECTION (FUEL SYSTEMS) (H4DO)>FUEL DELIVERY AND EVAPORATION LINES>REMOVAL>QUICK CONNECTOR DISCONNECTION (TYPE A) .

Disconnect the evaporation hose from the fuel pipe assembly.

Remove the connector from the fuel pipe bracket A.

Lift up the vehicle.
Remove the bolts securing the fuel bracket A, and remove the pipe clamp from the fuel pipe assembly.

Remove the fuel tank.
Refer to FUEL INJECTION (FUEL SYSTEMS) (H4DO)>FUEL TANK>REMOVAL .
Remove the hoses and tubes from the fuel tank.
Refer to FUEL INJECTION (FUEL SYSTEMS) (H4DO)>GENERAL DESCRIPTION>COMPONENT>FUEL TANK 1 .

Disconnect the purge tube from the fuel pipe assembly.
Refer to FUEL INJECTION (FUEL SYSTEMS) (H4DO)>FUEL DELIVERY AND EVAPORATION LINES>REMOVAL>QUICK CONNECTOR DISCONNECTION (TYPE E) .

Remove the under cover rear RH.
Refer to EXTERIOR/INTERIOR TRIM>FLOOR UNDER PROTECTOR>REMOVAL .
Disconnect the brake pipe.
Refer to BRAKE>BRAKE HOSE>REMOVAL>REAR BRAKE HOSE .

Refer to BRAKE>BRAKE PIPE>REMOVAL>CENTER BRAKE PIPE .
Remove the bolts securing the fuel pipe bracket B and the fuel pipe bracket C, and remove the pipe clamp from the fuel pipe assembly.

Remove the fuel pipe assembly.

Remove the fuel sub delivery tube.
1. Remove the fuel pump.
  Refer to FUEL INJECTION (FUEL SYSTEMS) (H4DO)>FUEL PUMP>REMOVAL .
2. Remove the fuel sub level sensor.
  Refer to FUEL INJECTION (FUEL SYSTEMS) (H4DO)>FUEL SUB LEVEL SENSOR>REMOVAL .
3. Remove the fuel sub delivery tube from the fuel tank.
