Ball Joint: Removal

  1. Lift up the vehicle, and then remove the front wheels.
  2. Remove the under cover front, Refer to EXTERIOR/INTERIOR TRIM>FRONT UNDER COVER>REMOVAL .
  3. Remove the ball joint COMPL.
    CAUTION: Be careful not to damage the boot of the ball joint.
    1. Remove the cotter pin (a).
    2. Remove the castle nut (b).
    3. Use a ball joint puller (c) to detach the arm COMPL front (d).

      Preparation tool: 

      Ball joint puller

    4. Remove the bolt and pull out the ball joint COMPL.
