Intake Manifold Assembly: Disassembly

  1. When the engine coolant has been drained before removing the intake manifold assembly
    1. Remove the throttle body.

      Refer to FUEL INJECTION (FUEL SYSTEMS) (H4DO)>THROTTLE BODY>REMOVAL .

  2. Remove the purge control solenoid valve.

    Refer to EMISSION CONTROL (AUX. EMISSION CONTROL DEVICES) (H4DO)>PURGE CONTROL SOLENOID VALVE>REMOVAL .

  3. Remove the EGR pipe.

    Refer to EMISSION CONTROL (AUX. EMISSION CONTROL DEVICES) (H4DO)>EGR PIPE>REMOVAL .

  4. Remove the EGR control valve.

    Refer to EMISSION CONTROL (AUX. EMISSION CONTROL DEVICES) (H4DO)>EGR CONTROL VALVE>REMOVAL .

  5. Remove the manifold absolute pressure sensor.

    Refer to FUEL INJECTION (FUEL SYSTEMS) (H4DO)>MANIFOLD ABSOLUTE PRESSURE SENSOR>REMOVAL .

  6. Remove the collector cover bracket and cushion.
