Select Lever: Installation

  1. Install the clip which holds the harness, and set the select lever.
  2. Install the bolt which holds the select lever.

    Tightening torque: 

    18 N.m (1.8 kgf-m, 13.3 ft-lb)

  3. Connect the connector.
  4. Install the select cable. Refer to CONTROL SYSTEMS>Select Cable>INSTALLATION .
  5. Install the duct console center. (Models with rear seat air conditioning) Refer to AIR CONDITIONER>Air Vent Duct>INSTALLATION>CONSOLE DUCT>CENTER .
  6. Install the cover center side RH and the cover center side LH. Refer to EXTERIOR/INTERIOR TRIM>Center Console>INSTALLATION .
  7. Install the boot to the indicator assembly.
  8. Install the clamp to the grip.
    NOTE: Insert it from the front side.
  9. Install the grip.
    NOTE: Install it while pressing on the clamp.
  10. Install the boot to the grip.
  11. Install the mat center tray.
  12. Shift the select lever to "P range.
  13. Connect the ground terminal to battery sensor. Refer to REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY .
