Backup Battery
CAUTION:
Before handling the airbag system components, refer to AIRBAG SYSTEM>General Description>CAUTION

- Disconnect the ground terminal from the battery sensor, and wait for at least 60 seconds before starting work. Refer to REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY .
- Remove the data communication module. Refer to ENTERTAINMENT & MONITORING>Data Communication Module>REMOVAL>DATA COMMUNICATION MODULE .
- Remove the backup battery.
- Remove the screws, and then remove the battery cover.
Preparation tool:
TORX® T10
- Disconnect the connector and remove the backup battery.
- Remove the screws, and then remove the battery cover.
