Display Assembly

CAUTION: Before handling the airbag system components, refer to AIRBAG SYSTEM>General Description>CAUTION ."
  1. Install the data communication module. Refer to ENTERTAINMENT & MONITORING>Data Communication Module>INSTALLATION>DATA COMMUNICATION MODULE .
  2. Install the backup unit assembly. Refer to SECURITY AND LOCKS>Backup Unit>INSTALLATION .
  3. Install the center information display assembly.
    CAUTION: Do not allow the harnesses and cords to interfere with or get caught by other parts.

    Tightening torque: 

    7.5 N.m (0.8 kgf-m, 5.5 ft-lb)

  4. Install the ornament panel mid passenger.
  5. Install the cover assembly front. Refer to EXTERIOR/INTERIOR TRIM>Console Box>INSTALLATION .
  6. Install the grip and boot. Refer to CONTROL SYSTEMS>Select Lever>INSTALLATION .
  7. Install the driver monitoring unit assembly or the cover center UPR. Refer to INSTRUMENTATION/DRIVER INFO>Driver Monitoring Unit>INSTALLATION .
  8. Install the visor assembly. Refer to INSTRUMENTATION/DRIVER INFO>Combination Meter>INSTALLATION .
  9. Install the cover LWR driver. Refer to EXTERIOR/INTERIOR TRIM>Instrument Panel Lower Cover>INSTALLATION .
  10. Connect the ground terminal to battery sensor. Refer to REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY .
    NOTE: After connecting the ground terminal to the battery sensor, place the select lever in the "P" position.
