Rear Gate Glass: Removal

  1. Disconnect the ground terminal from battery sensor. Refer to REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY .
  2. Remove the trim panel rear gate. Refer to EXTERIOR/INTERIOR TRIM>Rear Gate Trim>REMOVAL .
  3. Remove the motor assembly rear wiper. Refer to WIPER AND WASHER SYSTEMS>Rear Wiper Motor>REMOVAL .
  4. Remove the roof spoiler. Refer to EXTERIOR/INTERIOR TRIM>Roof Spoiler>REMOVAL .
  5. Remove the garnish assembly rear gate LWR. Refer to EXTERIOR/INTERIOR TRIM>Rear Gate Garnish>REMOVAL .
  6. Disconnect the rear defogger connector and the antenna connector.
  7. Remove the glass rear gate in the same procedure as for the glass windshield. Refer to GLASS/WINDOW/MIRRORS>Windshield Glass>REMOVAL .
