Fuel Pump Control Unit: Removal

  1. Disconnect the ground terminal from battery sensor. Refer to REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY .
  2. Remove the trim panel trunk side RH. (Sedan model) Refer to EXTERIOR/INTERIOR TRIM>Trunk Room Trim>REMOVAL .
  3. Remove the trim panel assembly apron RH. (OUTBACK model) Refer to EXTERIOR/INTERIOR TRIM>Rear Quarter Trim>REMOVAL
  4. Remove the fuel pump control unit.
    • Sedan model

  5. Disconnect the connector from fuel pump control unit.
