Select Lever: Removal

Disconnect the ground terminal from battery sensor. Refer to REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY .
Remove the mat center tray.

Release the shift lock using a screwdriver, etc. and shift the select lever to the "N" range.

Lower the section (A) of the boot.

Remove the clamp (A) and remove the grip.

Remove the boot.

Remove the cover center side RH and the cover center side LH. Refer to EXTERIOR/INTERIOR TRIM>Center Console>REMOVAL .
Remove the duct console center. (Models with rear seat air conditioning) Refer to AIR CONDITIONER>Air Vent Duct>REMOVAL>CONSOLE DUCT>CENTER .
Remove the select cable. Refer to CONTROL SYSTEMS>Select Cable>REMOVAL .
Disconnect the connector.

Remove the bolts which secure the select lever.

Remove the clip securing the harness, and remove the select lever.
