Using a claw-foot wrench, install the knock sensor and connect the connector (A).
NOTE:
- Knock sensor must be positioned so that the connector center comes within the range shown in the figure.
- Make sure that the knock sensor and its connector do not touch the adjacent parts.

Tightening torque:

T= 25 N.m (2.5 kgf-m, 18.4 ft-lb) x L1/(L1+L2)

T: Reading of the torque wrench

L1: Effective length of the torque wrench

L2: Effective length of the crowfoot wrench

NOTE: If the effective length of the tool used is unknown, consult the manufacturer of the tool.

Install the connector (A) and clip (B).

Install the intercooler. Refer to INTAKE (INDUCTION) (H4DOTC)>Intercooler>INSTALLATION .
Connect the ground terminal to battery sensor. Refer to REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY .
