LH Side

  1. Disconnect the ground terminal from battery sensor. Refer to REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY .
  2. Remove the reservoir tank. Refer to COOLING (H4DOTC)>Reservoir Tank>REMOVAL
  3. Remove the clip securing the engine wiring harness.

  4. Disconnect the connector (A) and remove the oil control solenoid.

  5. Remove the backup ring from the oil control solenoid.
