Intake Manifold Assembly: Disassembly

  1. When the engine coolant has been drained before removing the intake manifold assembly
    1. Remove the throttle body. Refer to FUEL INJECTION (FUEL SYSTEMS) (H4DO)>Throttle Body>REMOVAL .
  2. Remove the purge control solenoid valve. Refer to EMISSION CONTROL (AUX. EMISSION CONTROL DEVICES) (H4DO)>Purge Control Solenoid Valve>REMOVAL .
  3. Remove the EGR pipe. Refer to EMISSION CONTROL (AUX. EMISSION CONTROL DEVICES) (H4DO)>EGR Pipe>REMOVAL .
  4. Remove the EGR control valve. Refer to EMISSION CONTROL (AUX. EMISSION CONTROL DEVICES) (H4DO)>EGR Control Valve>REMOVAL ,
  5. Remove the manifold absolute pressure sensor. Refer to Fuel Injection (Fuel Systems) (H4DO)>Manifold Absolute Pressure Sensor>REMOVAL .
