RH Side

  1. Connect the coupling harness and install the knock sensor.
    NOTE:
    • Knock sensor must be positioned so that the connector center comes within the range shown in the figure.
    • Make sure that the knock sensor and its connector do not touch the adjacent parts.

    Tightening torque: 

    25 N.m (2.5 kgf-m, 18.4 ft-lb)

  2. Install the clip (D) and the coupling harness to the harness case.
  3. Install the clip (C), and connect the connector (B).
  4. Install the engine wiring harness with the bolt (A).

    Tightening torque: 

    6.4 N.m (0.7 kgf-m, 4.7 ft-lb)

  5. Install the intake manifold assembly. Refer to Fuel Injection (Fuel Systems) (H4DO)>Intake Manifold Assembly>INSTALLATION .
  6. Install the air intake boot. Refer to INTAKE (INDUCTION) (H4DO)>Air Intake Boot>INSTALLATION .
  7. Connect the ground terminal to battery sensor. Refer to REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY .
