LH Side

Install the knock sensor to the cylinder block.
NOTE: The knock sensor should be installed so that the center of the connector is positioned at a 47.5 - 62.5° angle relative to the rear of engine.

Tightening torque:

24 N.m (2.4 kgf-m, 17.7 ft-lb)

Connect the connector to the knock sensor.

Install the bolts securing the engine wiring harness.
Tightening torque:

19 N.m (1.9 kgf-m, 14.0 ft-lb)

Install the throttle body. Refer to FUEL INJECTION (FUEL SYSTEMS) (W/O STI)>THROTTLE BODY>INSTALLATION .
Install the intercooler. Refer to INTAKE (INDUCTION) (W/O STI)>INTERCOOLER>INSTALLATION .
Connect the ground terminal to battery sensor. Refer to NOTE>NOTE>BATTERY .
Install the collector cover. Refer to INTAKE (INDUCTION) (W/O STI)>COLLECTOR COVER>INSTALLATION .
