Only Weather Screen Is Not Displayed

Detecting condition:

Communication circuit, audio or navigation, or MFD is abnormal.

CHECK SUBSCRIPTION STATUS AND RECEIVING AREA .
Check user's XM subscription status, and also areas where displays were not available.

Is there problem in XM subscription status and the areas?

Yes : System is normal. Displays are available only in subscription status and receiving areas.

No : Go to 2.
CHECK HARNESS BETWEEN MFD AND HEAD UNIT .
1. Turn the ignition switch to OFF.
2. Disconnect the MFD connector.
3. Disconnect the navigation unit or audio connector.
4. Using a tester, measure the resistance of harness between MFD connector and navigation unit or audio connector.

Is the resistance less than 10 Ω?

Yes : Go to 3.

No : Repair or replace the open circuit of harness.
CHECK HEAD UNIT .
Read the DTC of [Infotainment] using the Subaru Select Monitor. Ref. to INFOTAINMENT (DIAGNOSTICS)>DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (DTC) .

Are any DTCs displayed? (Current malfunction)

Yes : Perform the diagnosis according to displayed DTC. Ref. to INFOTAINMENT (DIAGNOSTICS)>Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC)>LIST .

No : Replace the MFD. Ref. to INSTRUMENTATION/DRIVER INFO>MULTI-FUNCTION DISPLAY (MFD) .
