Basic Inspection

Before performing diagnosis, check the following items which might affect MFD problems.

1. Check the battery. Ref. to STARTING/CHARGING SYSTEMS (H4DOTC)>Battery>INSPECTION .
2. Check the main and other fuses, harnesses and connectors. Also check grounding.
3. Verify the destination of the vehicle.
4. Verify type of wheel-drive.
5. Verify availability and grade of the head unit installed to the vehicle.
6. Verify availability of EyeSight.
7. Verify availability of RAB.
8. Verify availability of BSD/RCTA.
