Check Seating Sensor Mat

Preparation tool: 

Circuit tester

1. Disconnect the connector of the seat belt switch and seating sensor mat.
2. Measure the resistance between the terminals when the seating sensor mat is in each of the following operation conditions.
   • RH

     Terminal No.	Inspection conditions	Standard	Circuit
     1 - 2	Do not sit on RH	1 MΩ or more	Courtesy of SUBARU OF AMERICA, INC.
     1 - 2	Sit on RH	1 Ω or less

   • CTR

     Terminal No.	Inspection conditions	Standard	Circuit
     1 - 2	Do not sit on CTR	1 MΩ or more	Courtesy of SUBARU OF AMERICA, INC.
     1 - 2	Sit on CTR	1 Ω or less

   • LH

   Terminal No.	Inspection conditions	Standard	Circuit
   1 - 2	Do not sit on LH	1 MΩ or more	Courtesy of SUBARU OF AMERICA, INC.
   1 - 2	Sit on LH	1 Ω or less

3. Replace the seating sensor mat together with the seat cushion pad if the inspection result is not within the standard value.
