Select Lever: Removal

  1. Disconnect the ground terminal from battery sensor. Ref. to REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY .
  2. Release the shift lock using a screwdriver, etc. and shift the select lever to the "N range".

  3. Lower the grip cover vertically.

  4. Remove the clamp.

  5. Remove the grip.

  6. Remove the rod.

  7. Remove the cover assembly front and the console box assembly. Ref. to EXTERIOR/INTERIOR TRIM>Console Box>REMOVAL .
  8. Remove the cover center side RH and the cover center side LH. Ref. to EXTERIOR/INTERIOR TRIM>Center Console>REMOVAL .
  9. Remove the select cable. Ref. to CONTROL SYSTEMS>Select Cable>REMOVAL .
  10. Disconnect the connector.

  11. Remove the select lever.

  12. Remove the harness clip.

  13. Remove the indicator.

  14. Remove the connector.

  15. Remove the harness.

  16. Remove the housing, blind A and blind B.

  17. Pull out the terminal of the solenoid unit using KTC connector terminal tool (part number: ECC-1T).
    NOTE: A flat tip precision screwdriver with a tip width of 1.3 mm (0.05 in) or less can also be used.
