Select Lever: Removal
- Disconnect the ground terminal from battery sensor. Ref. to REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY .
- Release the shift lock using a screwdriver, etc. and shift the select lever to the "N range".
- Lower the grip cover vertically.
- Remove the clamp.
- Remove the grip.
- Remove the rod.
- Remove the cover assembly front and the console box assembly. Ref. to EXTERIOR/INTERIOR TRIM>Console Box>REMOVAL .
- Remove the cover center side RH and the cover center side LH. Ref. to EXTERIOR/INTERIOR TRIM>Center Console>REMOVAL .
- Remove the select cable. Ref. to CONTROL SYSTEMS>Select Cable>REMOVAL .
- Disconnect the connector.
- Remove the select lever.
- Remove the harness clip.
- Remove the indicator.
- Remove the connector.
- Remove the harness.
- Remove the housing, blind A and blind B.
- Pull out the terminal of the solenoid unit using KTC connector terminal tool (part number: ECC-1T).NOTE: A flat tip precision screwdriver with a tip width of 1.3 mm (0.05 in) or less can also be used.
