Engine Wiring Harness: Removal
- Disconnect the ground terminal from battery sensor. Ref. to REPAIR CONTENTS>REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY .
- Remove the clip from the air intake boot, and loosen the clamp.
- Remove the air intake boot, and place it aside so that it does not interfere with the work.CAUTION: Be careful not to pull out the PCV hose.
- Remove the intake manifold assembly. Ref. to FUEL INJECTION (FUEL SYSTEMS) (H4DO (EXCEPT FOR HEV))>INTAKE MANIFOLD ASSEMBLY>REMOVAL .
- Remove the fuel insulator. Ref. to FUEL INJECTION (FUEL SYSTEMS) (H4DO (EXCEPT FOR HEV))>FUEL INSULATOR>REMOVAL .
- Disconnect each connector to remove the engine wiring harness. Ref. to Fuel Injection Disconnect each connector to remove the engine wiring harness. Ref. to FUEL INJECTION (FUEL SYSTEMS) (H4DO (EXCEPT FOR HEV))>GENERAL DESCRIPTION>COMPONENT>ENGINE WIRING HARNESS .NOTE:
- For 2.0 L fixed displacement compressor CVT model and MT model, disconnect the fuel injector #2 connector at the coupling harness side, and then remove the tape (a).
- For removal of the coupling harness of 2.0 L fixed displacement compressor CVT model and MT model, refer to "Fuel Injector". Ref. to FUEL INJECTION (FUEL SYSTEMS) (H4DO (EXCEPT FOR HEV))>FUEL INJECTOR>REMOVAL>FUEL INJECTOR LH .
- For 2.0 L fixed displacement compressor CVT model and MT model, disconnect the fuel injector #2 connector at the coupling harness side, and then remove the tape (a).
