RH Side

  1. Disconnect the ground terminal from battery sensor. Ref. to REPAIR CONTENTS>REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY .
    NOTE: For the hybrid model, disconnect the battery negative terminal.
  2. Remove the air cleaner case. Ref. to INTAKE (INDUCTION) (H4DO (EXCEPT FOR HEV))>AIR CLEANER CASE>REMOVAL .
  3. Remove the clip from the air intake boot, and loosen the clamp. (Hybrid model)

  4. Remove the air intake boot, and place it aside so that it does not interfere with the work. (Hybrid model)
    CAUTION: Be careful not to pull out the PCV hose.

  5. Remove the clip (A) securing the harness to the inverter front water pipe, and remove the inverter center water pipe inlet hose and the inverter center water pipe outlet hose from the clamp (B). (Hybrid model)
  6. Remove the bolt securing the inverter front water pipe to the vehicle. (Hybrid model)
  7. Remove the clip (C) securing the pipe - evaporator cooling to the bracket, and place it aside so that it does not interfere with work. (Hybrid model)

  8. Disconnect the connector from ignition coil.
    NOTE: While pressing the spring (a) shown in the figure, slide it in the direction of the arrow with a clip remover.

  9. Remove the ignition coil.
