At Select Lever Assembly

Clean all the parts before assembly.
Apply Multemp SH-K II or equivalent to the end of select lever COMPL. (Crosstrek hybrid model)

Apply Multemp D No. 2 or equivalent to the sliding portion of each part.
Install the rod detent (B) and detent spring (C) to the select lever COMPL (A).
NOTE: Install the rod detent (a) with its flat face facing downward.

Install the plate guide to the select lever COMPL.
Install the arm COMPL. (Except for Crosstrek hybrid model)
Install the select lever COMPL to the plate COMPL.
Install the spacer pin.
Install the clamp pin.
Install the spacer pin guide.
Install the clamp push nut.
NOTE: Replace the clamp push nut with a new part.

Install the shaft control.
Install the clamp push nut.
NOTE: Replace the clamp push nut with a new part.

Insert the solenoid unit terminals to the harness connector.

Install the solenoid unit.
Install the harness to the plate COMPL.
Install the harness connector to the plate COMPL.
Install the gasket.
Install the spacer plate.
After installation, check the following points.

Except for Crosstrek hybrid model
1. The select indicator matches the select lever position when the select lever is changed from "P" range to "D" range.
2. The select lever position and the position mark match each other.
3. Operating force to move the select lever from "P" to "D" range
