Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor: Installation

Set a new gasket, install the engine coolant temperature sensor using the ST.
NOTE: STRUT MOUNT SOCKET (20099PA000) can also be used.

Preparation tool:

ST: STRUT MOUNT SOCKET (20399AG000)

Tightening torque:

16 N.m (1.6 kgf-m, 11.8 ft-lb)
Connect the connector.
Set the electric compressor assembly and temporarily install the compressor bracket - front.

Tighten the compressor bracket - front in the numerical order shown in the figure.
Tightening torque:

T1: 26.5 N.m (2.7 kgf-m, 19.5 ft-lb)

T2: 36 N.m (3.7 kgf-m, 26.6 ft-lb)

Install the inverter tank.
Tightening torque:

7.5 N.m (0.8 kgf-m, 5.5 ft-lb)

Lift up the vehicle.
Install the inverter radiator outlet hose and inverter tank outlet hose to the clamp.

Install the front under cover. Ref. to EXTERIOR/INTERIOR TRIM>FRONT UNDER COVER>INSTALLATION .
Lower the vehicle.
Install the bracket - hood stay.
Tightening torque:

18 N.m (1.8 kgf-m, 13.3 ft-lb)

Install the cover UPR - front.

Install the air intake duct. Ref. to INTAKE (INDUCTION) (H4DO (EXCEPT FOR HEV))>AIR INTAKE DUCT>INSTALLATION .
Install the collector cover. Ref. to INTAKE (INDUCTION) (H4DO (EXCEPT FOR HEV))>COLLECTOR COVER>INSTALLATION .
Connect the battery ground terminal. Ref. to REPAIR CONTENTS>REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY .
Fill engine coolant. (Engine side) Ref. to COOLING (H4DO(HEV))>ENGINE COOLANT>REPLACEMENT>FILLING OF ENGINE COOLANT>ENGINE SIDE .
