Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor: Removal

1. Disconnect the ground terminal from battery. Ref. to REPAIR CONTENTS>REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY .
2. Drain engine coolant. (Engine side) Ref. to COOLING (H4DO(HEV))>ENGINE COOLANT>REPLACEMENT>DRAINING OF ENGINE COOLANT>ENGINE SIDE .
3. Remove the collector cover. Ref. to INTAKE (INDUCTION) (H4DO (EXCEPT FOR HEV))>COLLECTOR COVER>REMOVAL .
4. Remove the air intake duct. Ref. to INTAKE (INDUCTION) (H4DO (EXCEPT FOR HEV))>AIR INTAKE DUCT>REMOVAL .
5. Remove the cover UPR - front.

6. Remove the bracket - hood stay.

7. Lift up the vehicle.
8. Remove the front under cover. Ref. to EXTERIOR/INTERIOR TRIM>FRONT UNDER COVER>REMOVAL .
9. Remove the inverter radiator outlet hose and inverter tank outlet hose from the clamp.

10. Lower the vehicle.
11. Remove the bolt securing the inverter tank, and place it aside so that it does not interfere with the work.

12. Remove the compressor bracket - front.

13. Move the electric compressor assembly in the direction of arrow.
14. Disconnect the connector (A) and remove the engine coolant temperature sensor using the ST.
